(Ficus Religiosa) the Bodhi Tree.The National tree of India.
It grows tenaciously across the sub-continent even upto 1500 mtrs altitude. It has allegedly the unique property of exuding oxigen even under star light at night. It has also many medicinal uses and is said to be conducive to meditation under it.
