Summary:
India is blessed with generous water availability, but only during the short monsoon period, and as much of this water goes waste, our Country suffers intensely under a recurring annual cycle of floods and drought which costs the Country dearly both by way of damage to crops and property and even more tragically so by way of loss of lives and livestock.
We therefore desperately need a solution to the problem of drought and flood that affects our Country, a system to hold and move water from one part of the country to another as required.
