SUMMARY OF THE LOW-CARB REGIMEN

Tiffin: on normal days – some nuts or sprouts or seeds, or dal fried or few cucumber slices/sticks etc.

Prior to Lunch  – on normal days (say 30 min earlier)

  1. Have Kimchee or sauerkraut (say 5 spoonfuls) and other such lacto-fermented foods before each meal.
  2. Consume a glass of water with 3 table spoons fresh squeezed lemon juice.
  3. Take supplements as you deems necessary.

Lunch:on normal days – Just before lunch:

Squeeze lemon juice into drinking water. Sprinkle food with lemon juice or lemon gratings (Grate whole frozen lemon)

Lunch as per your diet schedule

Tea Time : – Tea with light snacks. Remember light means light! Lentils/Dals, Vegetables, onion pakoras, Dahi vadas etc

Prior to Dinner:  on normal days (say 30 mins earlier)

  1. Have Kimchee or sauerkraut (say 5 spoonfuls) and other such lacto-fermented foods before each meal.
  2. Take the supplements as you deem necessary.
  3. Consume a glass of water with 3 table spoons fresh squeezed lemon juice.

Dinner: – on normal days – Just before Dinner:

Squeeze lemon juice into drinking water. Sprinkle food with lemon juice or lemon gratings (Grate whole frozen lemon)

Dinner as per your diet schedule

Prior to Bed Time: Should be at least 1 hour after Dinner Take supplements – as you deem necessary.

On Fast Days(say Saturday)

Fasting from after dinner on the previous day (say Friday) to dinner time on the next day (say Saturday) should be enough.

Have only water with lemon juice or butter milk till Dinner on the Fast day. Dinner can be as on other days.

Remember No supplements on Fast Days.

On Feast Day(say Sunday. Again you need have no supplements on Feast day)

Breakfast: You may have the same light protein rich breakfast as on normal days. If however you decide to have a carbohydrate rich breakfast on this day then 30 mins prior to breakfast take a tsp of cinnamon powder with a Tbsp of honey.

Great, lo carb meal, I have started following modifying as suitable to me. No rice or wheat, just raw vegitables & eggs boiled with salt, lemon & cinnamon powder. Plenty of water, on mug of black coffee. 5 days, Yoga & walking. Will tell you progress in few days
