Interesting Facts about Religions and Tolerance

The facts about religions, whether you are a believer or not, that is a secondary matter, the following facts bring out some sensible things, which all literate and rational persons must admit. The Religious Cultures each say – One God, One Book and each see themselves as One People, united and tolerant, but; Please read with an open mind. No disrespect is meant to any particular religion.

One Christ, One Bible, One Religion – and all Christians see themselves as united and tolerant!

BUT the Latin Catholic will not enter Syrian Catholic Church.

These two will not enter Morman Church.

These three will not enter Pentecost Church.

These four will not enter Salvation Army Church.

These five will not enter Seventh Day Adventist Church.

These six will not enter Orthodox Church.

These seven will not enter Jacobite Church.

This is like there are 146 castes in Kerala alone

But there are many denominations amongst them. From Catholics – Roman, Syrian, Eastern Orthodox etc. to Protestants – Lutherans and Anglicans, Mormons, Seventh Day Adventists,Pentecostals, Jacobites, Baptists,Methodists, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Evangelists, Unitarians,Reformists, and many dozens more, with even a caste system within many of them. Kerala Christians alone are said to have more than 146 castes amongst them.

So much for One Christ, One Bible, One Jehova/ Christ.

What Unity or Tolerance? – even as the days of Crusades and inquisition are long over, many Christians propagate Evangelism by any means calling others as Pagans, or as the Pope had said in his speech in Kerala around 1998 as – ‘Souls to be harvested (not saved) for the Lord’.

He was clearly evidencing an expropriating mind set. The silent majority of Christians are hence irrelevant.

Islam
One Allah, One Quran, One Ummah…! All Muslims call themselves brothers.

But there are many denominations amongst them too.

Shias, Sunnis,Ahmadiyas, Bohras, Sufis, and many more with at least 13 castes within them.

Shia and Sunni cannot see eye to eye and kill each other anywhere and everywhere.

The Shia will not go to a Sunni Mosque

These two will not go to a Ahmadiyya Mosque.

These three will not go to a Sufi Mosque.

These four will not go to a Mujahidin mosque…

These brothers can’t share their places of prayer and cannot really …

The brothers have been killing/bombing/conquering/murdering/raping each other in the name of Islam for the last over 1000 years, since the day Islam existed…!

They have never been or they will never be at peace with Jews or Christians in the name of religion, yet all 3 pray to the same God of Abraham.

The American attack on the Muslim land of Iraq and Afghanistan was fully supported by all the Muslim countries around them!
